Vista Signs Australasian Exhibitor Giant – Hoyts Cinema Group.

January 2008 saw Australasian cinema exhibitor giant, Hoyts Cinema Group, sign up with Vista Entertainment Solutions for their new cinema management software. With 49 sites and over 400 screens across New Zealand and Australia, the Hoyts Cinema Group are one of Australasia’s largest circuits.

Hoyts Cinema Group provide a wide variety of cinema services to their customers. La Premier is the ultimate in luxury cinema-going, with fully reclining seats, personalised wait staff and access to a VIP fully licensed bar – La Premier is great way to see a Hollywood blockbuster. For those that prefer something a little more casual the Half Pipe is the way to go. Featuring giant deluxe beanbags and a private cinema, the Hoyts Half Pipe is a popular venue for people of all ages. Vista effortlessly manages all of Hoyts innovative cinema concepts as tickets and concessions, to be purchased from any Point of Sale counter. This has enabled Hoyts to transition all customers, from the box office and concession counters to cinema auditoriums in a smooth and efficient manner.

To further enhance Hoyts’ customer service offerings, they chose to install additional Vista modules Head Office, LED signage, Voucher Management, Loyalty and Web. To capitalise on the popularity of the Internet, Hoyts chose to add Vista Web to their sales channels. Customers can now purchase movies tickets online, to any movie, for any session, at any Hoyts cinema. Hoyts also run a fantastic loyalty program “Hoyts Movie Club,” which offers customers discounted ticket prices, alongside other great deals. Utilising Vista Loyalty, Hoyts can now promote upcoming movies in a more efficient manner, as they are able to target customers based on loyalty profile.

The rollout of Vista began in April 2008 and is expected to be complete by late 2008.
